There is a lot you can do with this resource. Here are some ideas for you:
– Assign the Google Doc as a writing assignment for heritage students in order to gain a sample of their writing.
– Have students share their writing with their peers (gallery walk style or in small groups).
– Present the slideshow of the example writing after students have written their own.
– Present the slideshow to your class, and create a story together.
– Present the slideshow of the example writing to L2 learners for comprehensible input.
-Have students read the example writing worksheet and create questions for the story.
– Have students later draw another comic to create a silly story of their own.
